Went here for lunch on our work break around 1am. Fred was awesome. He waited on us and cooked, he was there by himself! The food was amazing. Then, when we left, our work truck was dead and he found cables and a car immediately to get us a jump to get back to work. Definitely will be back. Badger Cafe is the shit!!

This place would be deemed a hole in the wall for sure, but the food was decent, it's always open & the waitress was fairly attentive. I had the steak & eggs & was pleasantly delighted. The Cafe is attached to a bar (but separated), which seemed pretty full at the time. I think there was a Billiards tournament going on at the time, so people were popping in and out from the bar from time to time. If you are looking for a decent meal late at night, I don't think you would go wrong in grabbing the steak & eggs from here. The prices here are fair, so its definitely a bargain.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - we ordered the daily special of Pot Roast and a Farmer's Breakfast with over easy eggs and chicken fried steak. The pot roast was tender but the sauce was a bit gloopy and thick. The mashed potatoes were good but the green beans flavorless and soggy. We're not quite sure what the soup of the day was but we know it wasn't good. The Farmer's Breakfast was good but the steak was a bit over and dry. The toast was EXTREMELY buttered which was great for one of us. Ambience: 4/5 - attached to a Rum Runner gaming place, we were a bit hesitant to walk into the little shop. However, it was quite cozy inside but the tables are packed together! The location does seem a bit more run down though. Service: 5/5 - friendly and attentive and made some recommendations on the menu. Value for price: 4/5 - cheap and quick eat for any hour of the day!

What a great little 24 hour greasy diner! It's connected to the Rum Runner gaming place so it's open 24 hours. BTW - they have wifi. I got the Philly Supreme sandwich ($8.99) with a side of au jus and fries with ranch and the sandwich was really good. In my opinion it could have been a bit bigger but it was enough and the sun jus added that extra something that made it awesome. The fries were really good too. We also got some of their beer battered onion rings which were really good. My girlfriend like me mine so good she ordered another one of these for the road. My girlfriend got the breakfast burrito ($7.49) and it also was really good but a little heavy on the oil. To sum it up, the food is good and the prices are low a 5 star experience!
